Clear Bra Paint Protection

Let us do all the prep work! We have a comprehensive wash and prep process prior to every clear bra installation, including: foam bath, pressure wash, iron removal treatment, hand wash, clay bar, polish and blow-dry. This 7-10 step process is crucial to maintain our top-quality paint protection film installations.

Drive thru car washes are HIGHLY discouraged when you have a clear bra or ceramic coating. The chemicals are far too harsh to treat your paint well, let alone your clear bra. Also, the high-pressured jets can tear into the clear bra film, while the spinning rollers are experts at creating scratches and lifting edges. The best care process is to spend some time with your lovely vehicle and to hand-wash at home with mild car wash soap. Ask us about our favorite care products today!

The top layer of the paint protection film has some self-healing properties. If your film gets some slight swirl-marks or light scratches from everyday life and washing, the imperfections can self-heal with use of very hot water or a heat gun. Please exercise caution when trying to heal out scratches, as the film can be burnt and this type of issue is not covered under warranty.

If you see a chip in your clear bra film, Hooray! The film has very likely done its job and protected your vehicle's beautiful paint from that piece of flying road debris. The replacement of the film is not covered by the warranty, as the film was doing its job to minimize damage and protect your paint.

Having clear bra film installed on certain parts of your vehicle for many years should not show any discoloration from your original paint underneath the film to the unprotected areas of the vehicle. There are no UV inhibitors added.

When the time comes to remove the old film (and maybe install the new one) our team will carefully remove the film and leftover adhesive using various types of heat and paint-safe chemicals along with a little elbow grease and a whole lot of TLC!

You're in luck because we use BOTH! We utilize the best clear bra patterns on the market, but if patterns aren't available or up to our standards, Branson's 20+ years of hand-cutting expertise will get the job done like the pro he is.

Our top-of-the-line films are warrantied for 10 years to protect against discoloration, lifting, bubbling, and other manufacturer defects, although the better you care for your car/clear bra, the longer it will last!

With the latest advancements in film technology and applications, there's absolutely no reason to risk damaging your new investment by dismantling it. We do debadge and use our cutting program to custom add as many wrapped edges as possible.
